The Inter-University Research Centre for Technology, Work and Culture (IFZ) in Graz is an interdisciplinary research institute dealing with issues of socially and environmentally sound technology design. Procurement Service Austria is part of IFZ.

The Procurement Service Austria – an Information Centre for Green Procurement, advises procurement officers in public authorities and private companies about sustainable procurement. Its work is funded by the Austrian Ministry for Environment.

  • Ecological and social criteria in tender documents for large numbers of products and services
  • The quarterly newsletter "take it!" for the latest information on green procurement
  • Workshops and conferences on sustainable procurement
  • A network of procurement officers in Austria who are interested in green procurement
